Well, this isn't a very helpful attitude, IMHO. Mason has a point: good listserv etiquette is to trim out the redundant and unnecessary stuff which does inflate files. Some people on the listserv seem unaware of these common sense manners, or are too lazy to do it.
I think a little common sense and courtesy can go a long way. And Mason did say "please" unlike some people who just issue commands and ultimattums )and to be a bigger consumer?).
