Re: [Frameworks] FCP question

I am pretty sure that with the advice I received here it will be
fairly straight forward to construct the split screen effect I am after.
What I like about Apple Pro Res 422 is that as soon as I do the
telecine transfers I am able to immediately watch the transfer on my
computer screen or through a digital projector. I can scroll through
the film (Quicktime file) a frame at a time. If I transfer _at_ 15fps I
get a distinct frame every two clicks, if I transfer _at_ 30fps I get a
distinct frame on every click. The file loads quickly, especially
when using the Firewire800 connection. I am fairly new to all this
technology myself and still enjoy making cement splices.... although
I do wonder about prolonged breathing of those fumes..... I like the
smell of film cement in the morning......
