I thought I'd share the news...
Alpha Cine has confirmed that they are back online with 16mm color sound
printing. Apparently, a few jobs came through that demanded they
reconsider the decision to stop processing color sound prints. They will
continue to offer this service.
This news comes in the wake of Deluxe and Technicolor merging lab operations
in Vancouver BC and halting all film printing operations. So, the
folks in Vancouver BC can rejoice that there is now (once again) an option
just across the border.
Thanks Chris Brabant for updating me on the situation at Alpha Cine, as AC
was not making this change known.
