Adam Beckett's animated work, especially Flesh Flows, Heavy-Light, and Dear Janice. Also Dennis Pies' animations are quite beautiful... lots of Cal Arts animated work from the '70s is in a shape-shifty vein... Henry Selick, Kathy Rose...
