(Interestingly Z'ev (the percussionist) was a speaker, no relation I
guess.)
My particular area of interest is partly to do with how we can now
perceive the sound (noise) of certain experimental films (particularly
from the early 70's) as music rather than as being incidental.
Referencing Vertov's Enthusiasm, Pierre Schaffer's early (music
concréte) experiments and Fluxus among others and the relationship
of noise with signification.
