I have been searching high and low for some inexpensive/work-trade/free
projection equipment to work on an installation project involving
animation of 35mm slides, double projection, and other things. I'm
specifically looking for:
slide projectors
digital projectors
a 16mm projector (preferably carryable)
16mm & 35mm guillotine splicers
I recently finished undergrad in CA and have been interning at various
places and curating screenings with stock footage and ephemeral films, and
would like to continue my work here in NY. I am currently working as a
projectionist but have very little $ money to invest.
I'm not sure if this is even the appropriate outlet for this kind of
shout-out, but I figured I would try. Any information about good places
and people to connect with regarding equipment would be greatly
appreciated.
