In this specific case I would vote for a Kodak Pageant. They're easy to clean
without removing any screws, and gentle on film. You can also bypass the sound
reader, if desired. Make sure you go for one of the 250 models, as the older
Pageant's will have hot bulbs that tend to melt paint.

Subject: [Frameworks] 16 mm projector for handmade film class

Does anyone have a recommendation for purchasing a 16mm projector for a handmade
film class? It does not have to be tops, as students will be operating it, and
running all sorts of things through it. I would like to buy it in the Claremont
or LA area. Thanks!
