I saw an exhibition recently with two Eiki slot loaders. Each machine had
a completely different motor which was driving the spindle via the front
where it is often available to hank crank/turnover the movement. Im
presuming that the motors are speed governed/controlled, they didnt look
like stepper motors. Im also presuming that the internal motors are
disengaged in this arrangment. The show was by Kerry Tribe, Arnolfini,
Bristol, England. The projectors were displaying one long loop.
Im working on stepper motor experiments for 8/16 and 35 projectors and
will send links to results when im finished.
