Re: Experiments in Cinema V5.1 still seeking submissions

I think it depends on your operating system, odd as that sounds.

At home I have 10.6.2, and can enter all the fillable information (except for the title for previously submitted films, which is the same field as the title of the film you're currently submitting, so if you change one, you change both).

But at work, which is some iteration of 10.5, the fillable fields are a single line long, and only the last fillable sentence - for synopsis & bio - appears & prints.

Since I don't have a printer at home, I'll have to fill out the application at home, save it, email to myself, and print at work.

And how bout this - I've got the new quicktime at home - 10.0 (90.3.1) - and QT exports don't play in other versions of QT - including the very popular version 7. So keep that in mind, too.

Still working on the way around for the QT thing, and will post once I find an acceptable solution, unless someone already knows it and wants to share.

I was able to open the pdf file, and yes it looks like I can type into it before printing, however, for some reason the line for the  film titles cannot be typed into, and also the  boxes cannot be checked.

Please confirm that this is the case for you as well, eg. the film titles and the boxes cannot be typed into. Everything else, yes.   I would like to know if it is me or that this is the case for others as well.

It brings up the question, will the entry form be rejected because the boxes are checked by hand, AND the film titles are printed by hand.  Why am I thinking about Nurse Ratchet?????

("you didn't type the film title.....no fruit cup for YOU!)
