No, I'm not saying that. Complaints and frustrations are legitimate (as you
recognize with Images' surveymonkey), but should be applied with a level of
grace, which, you're right, is hard to do. Obviously, the extremes that you
highlight are completely uncalled for.

As for feedback, Caryn's initial post mused about the possibility of
building that into the response system, particularly when you're spending
$35 a submission. I find that infrastructurally daunting and probably
inappropriate to the relationship of festival and filmmaker, but I have NO
problem with feedback on a casual level when requested.

Anyway, not to belabour the point.
