Yes, the Harvard Film Archive has been recording the audio from
conversations with visiting filmmakers for a little over a year now. The
audio will eventually be accessible online, either through the HFA website
or the Harvard College Library website, perhaps both. In the meantime,
people interested in the material can inquire with me (my Harvard contacts
are below).

There are also the excellent Pinewood Dialogues, from Museum of the Moving
Image:
