Hola Frameworkers!

Check it out here:

There are two essays (ART OF THE DISPLACED IMAGE: METAMORPHOSES, NARCISSIM AND NON-LINEAR EPIC NARRATIVE by Rachel Cole; CINE PARKOUR by Jesse Kennedy), plus stills and images (click on the images link on the bios page for images), dialouge excerpts from several of the participants, info about the program and alot more.

Cine Parkour is an expanded-cinema presentation involving the collaboration and presentation of film works by contemporary Argentine and North American based avant-gardists to further encourage dialogue amongst artists of varying continents.

These artists, writers and curtors are exploring the moving image through the architecture of the film-viewing areas in both traditional and unconventional public spaces. The program title, Cine Parkour, is inspired by "Parkour (l'art du déplacement)", which is an activity with the aim of moving from one point to another as efficiently and quickly as possible, using principally the abilities of the human body. It is meant to help one overcome obstacles, which can be anything in the surrounding environment—from branches and rocks to rails and concrete walls—and can be practiced in both rural and urban areas.

The exhibition and projections take place at Malba and in various public spaces August 24-30, 2008 in Buenos Aires.
