I saw your post to the Frameworks list, and since I can’t log in and
post this (can’t remember my login…), I just thought I’d mention:

The Library of Congress Motion Picture and Recorded Sound Division
maintains a controlled vocabulary that deals specifically with these
issues, and while it’s not perfect, it does have a whole subdivision
of terms for describing experimental films. Take a look here: http://
www.loc.gov/rr/mopic/migintro.html

Maybe you can suggest a few terms and refer to this CV, and really
wow the librarian with your CV knowledge.
