Guillotine Splicers

I find the best, er, 'hands-down' way to use a guillotine splicer is to employ a straight edge blade on either side of the channel, against the metal. The cut is 100% clean, quick, and nothing gets worn or gunked up. Once the tape is cut, the I use the guillotine to punch out the sprocket holes.
