General agreement. Be sure to get a good projector. Then also for now, be
sure to get (if you can) the Sony DSR-11 and J-30 decks, or the equivalent.
The former plays DVCam and miniDV, NTSC and PAL. The latter plays BetaSP
and DigiBeta, NTSC and PAL. That should cover most video deck needs until
you can afford a proper HDCam deck.
A good super-8 projector would be nice, if you can find one.
