Hi Maļa,

After much experimentation with encoding video, I settled upon dual-pass
Divx Mpeg4. Here's a great tutorial about it:
http://freevlog.org/index.php/2006/04/26/443/

The quality is better than Apple's Mpeg4 encoder, as that tutorial
illustrates.

The quality is comparable with H.264, but it has the advantage of playing
back on computers with Quicktime 6 (h.264 requires quicktime 7). And it's
less processor intensive to play back, so older computers have less trouble
playing it.

Hope that helps,
Simon

P.S.-I see Helen Hill in the cast credits. Have you heard from her after
Katrina? She used to live in New Orleans. I got to know her a little, but
haven't heard if she's back in town.
