For those of you in the Philadelphia area...

I'm going to be presenting my first career
retrospective this Thursday, March 30, as part of the
Paradigm Lecture Series at the University of the Arts
in Philadelphia.

Works to be screened include "Flow," official
selection of the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival and winner
of a Juror's Citation at the 2006 Black Maria Film
Festival, as well as "Means and Meditations," which
screened last year at the Rotterdam Film Festival and
elsewhere.

For those of you unfamiliar with my work (most of you,
actually), I make short films and videos, mostly
experimental in nature. My more recent works,
including "Flow," incorporate live video footage with
painted 16mm and 35mm filmstrips to create abstract
impressions of the world around us.

Show starts at 7 p.m. at UVA's Connelly Lecture Hall,
Terra Hall, 211 South Broad Street, Philadelphia.

I hope to see you there. Feel free to pass this along.
