Dear James Harding,
Please accept my sincere apology for calling you a "mediocre person". I
don't know you and I have no right to say that just because you made a
personal attack on me.
You can attack as you like. I did my work in the purest and most dedicated
way that I could of. With bounds and leaps and a tremendous load of crap to
get through to make my film. I am sorry that your information is skewed.
That's the way the media works and most things in the world.
But please make one thing real and truth. YOU NEVER EVER saw my film
finished. I have never shown an 89 min picture from start to end. I showed a
many min. excerpts that were works in edit progress.
I think the work of Jack Smith is so beautiful and original that there is NO
mediocre work when it comes to him. I feel the same about some other
filmmakers as well. Brakage, Jacobs, Snow etc.
There is really no more to say. You have made your mind up from little
information. Sadly. Peace to you.
