The mag stripe on the camera film simply let you record sync sound
simultaneously on cameras - or versions of cameras - 16BL, CP-16,
Frezzolini etc. This was how news was done (VNF = "Video News Film"
btw) in the 'dark days' ;-) before portable video cameras and recorders
took over the world.

I don't know why I felt the need to viciously attack the Kodak Pageant.
Perhaps there is no better way to acknowledge the new year than by
lashing out at an inanimate object......
Still don't like them ;-)
