Hi Esperanza: From my experience, getting a no-reply from FMC is definitely not normal.  However, I believe Serra was planning to take a vacation at the end of this last week, or this weekend.  I can't imagine that that would mean the co-op froze activity all last week, but it may mean that some emails were missed, or that responses to rental requests were postponed until early this week.  If you're able, I would recommend calling the office on the phone and trying to speak with Serra directly.  However, I doubt anyone will be there until Tuesday, due to Labor Day. Best of luck, Josh Guilford ________________________________ From: ev petrol <> To: Experimental Film Discussion List <> Sent: Thursday, September 1, 2011 7:15 PM Subject: Re: [Frameworks] NY Filmmakers' Coop hey espe that's the right email - maybe try giving serra a call? cheers moira ________________________________ From: Esperanza Collado <> To: Experimental Film Discussion List <> Sent: Tuesday, August 30, 2011 7:00 AM Subject: [Frameworks] NY Filmmakers' Coop Hello frameworkers, I am trying to make contact with the Filmmakers' Coop in New York to rent a film, but I already sent two emails to get no reply. I wonder if anyone here knows if this is normal (!) or could provide a concrete contact email address. Im worried about not being able to rent the film I need... The email I've been writing to is - MM Serra, presumably.  Many thanks, -- Esperanza Collado - - - - - - - - - - - - - - _______________________________________________ FrameWorks mailing list _______________________________________________ FrameWorks mailing list
