Hi Sandra,

I have the manual, which has all the schematics including the audio circuits. I'd be happy to send you a copy.

Liberman Sound, which is now in Portland, is the factory authorized repair place, and has some parts. The Showchron is pretty modular, so it should be possible to just pull and send the amp module. Or, seeing as it is a straightforward amp circuit, a competent audio repair shop should be able to fix it.

The amplifier on my Showchron was pretty much shot when I got it about ten years ago. I never had it fixed, but I am able to get a clean line level signal out of the "Bridged" output on the back to feed an external amp or powered monitor. You might want to try that. In the case of my machine it suggests the preamp stage is okay but the power amp is fried.
