Re: [Frameworks] 7231 Plus-X replacement - ORWO available in the U.S.

I'm waiting on a response from Frank (Germany) and RE Group (Newport, RI).
The post I read on the Filmotec site
was dated 3-17-11, so things may have changed. RE Group is a new
distributor, as the last contact for the US was in
New Jersey.

After Plus-X was announced discontinued, I contacted Frank, asking if they
would be looking toward the US market
with Plus-X gone... and he said they had no plans to expand into North
America, so I was surprised to read what is
now posted on Filmotec.

I shot some tests with UN54 printed on 7302 and I think it looks very nice,
and though it may not be Plus-X it's a worthy
alternative.

What I would like to try is Fomapan 100R processed as negative. I noticed
the west coast suppliers who used to carry
Fomapan 100R no longer do, so not certain if this is still available in the
States?
