undergraduate courses, as well as for actively shaping and teaching graduate offerings and conducting
graduate supervision in this field of study. This position is intended to cultivate a research and curriculum
overlap between the Departmentís programs in Cinema and Media Studies and the Faculty of Fine Artsí
BA in Digital Media. The candidate will join the Departmentís Cinema & Media Studies area, but a
capacity to teach courses in the Departmentís other streams, Film Production and/or Screenwriting,
would be a strong asset. The successful candidate must have a PhD in Film or Media Studies, or a
related area; additional academic and/or professional experience in a relevant artistic field; three years of
post-secondary teaching; and a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, graduate supervision,
and administrative service. Candidates will show excellence or promise of excellence in scholarly and
creative research and teaching. Preference will be given to those who have their PhD in hand at the time
of application.

and teaching evaluations, and the names, addresses and e-mails of three referees should be sent, by
