Hi all:

I've been asked to curate a program of short films with an environmental focus,
and I was hoping you might be able to recommend some films by recent filmmakers
whom I could reach out to. The event is a new film fest based in Greenpoint,
Brooklyn, and the overall theme is regeneration.

I'm specifically interested in new and recent short films that have a
connection to Brooklyn, NYC or New York state, and that deal with the
environment in some way, be they doc, experimental or even narrative. By
"environment" I don't necessarily mean issues such as fracking, recycling or
urban farming (all good and viable topics), for example; rather, I choose to
define the term as the spaces we inhabit and how those places inhabit and
affect us as beings. I am also seeking similar works by makers from beyond NYC
who address similar issues elsewhere.

Any recommendations? Please contact me offlist.
