I'm hoping someone can help me with two historical questions:
(1) When did Harry Smith start working at Art In Cinema, and how long was he
there?
I am under the impression he had left by 1950, but don't know when he
started.
(2) John Whitney mentions working with Saul Bass on title sequences, but I
know of only the Vertigo title. Which others, if any, did he work on? I
know UPA did film titles, were they responsible for the animation of Bass's
work?
Odd questions, I know.
