The old animators were really hip to a lot of clever and creative
ideas, and humor. Also hidden "allegorical" and "metaphorical"
implications snuck into the imagery sometimes.
Then again there is a whole world of "banned" animation which
contains notions considered "politically incorrect" by today's
standards (not meant to be a factual statement, ha hah).
