Couldn't you make a great print off a great DVD copy?

Following up on Brett's post, I screened "Rape" three or four years ago and the print was in good condition.
It is unfortunate that trying to rent films with MOMA is often problematic on many different levels...
At least Yoko's archivist is on top of things.

I recently rented a copy for a screening in Oberlin, and it arrived about three days after the screening date. However, I was implored not to show the print by Ono's film archivist, who had caught wind of the screening beforehand, due to the poor condition of the 16mm copy. She ended up sending a DVD copy of the film, which was excellent, and which I had no choice but to show since the print didn't arrive in time anyway.
