The SSL, as the name indicates, is indeed "Slim", and for that reason a good
traveler. If traveling, my choice would be a Hokushin SC-210 or Apollo
QL-100. Super light, and actually a tad smaller than the SSL. In my
experience, this projector (if properly serviced) is much better with
splices than the SSL and can be made to run a little quieter as well. And to
top it off, the SC-210 has the same lens barrel diameter as the Eiki,
42.5mm.
