Hello All,

Thank you for the interesting interpretations.  Given that I had to make a
call not exceeding 150 words initially, I had to cut short the explanation..
but it is about excluding time, i.e. not using projectors/video to show
work, rather work that continues this exploration in alternative means -
sequence, books, stilled images.. I'm getting some very exciting responses..

So, re-read, the call would now make better sense..

Thanks and Regards,

Glad it's not just me! ;)

However I've been wondering if it is more about excluding the 4th dimension.
On the one hand it asks for time based practioners but then I notice that
the theme is "holding time". This is an interesting idea and I've been
wondering how you can have a moving image without time involved. Perhaps
they mean works that are at the margins of what might be thought of as time
based in some way. Theres no explanation tho but this seemed the most
obvious answer.

It also occured to be that they might be wishing to exclude extra
dimensional entities from participating. Although while I can understand
such concerns given the times we are in, I doubt that the first thing they
would be doing is making art if they make their way through. So basically
this seemed just silly!

As for one dimensional art, I think theres often far too much of it around
already! ;)

love

Freya
