Hi folks,

I posted two pieces from recent live performances on You Tube:

Uncertainty Principles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TH9qcZBuf5g
is an excerpt from a very high energy live performance I did with
Dennis Warren's Quantum Jams at the Lily Pad on Oct 10, 2009. I would
describe the music as midway between Bitches Brew era Miles Davis,
and free jazz. I mixed video and projected on the ceiling above the
band.

I recorded my video, Dennis recorded a high quality audio track and
also ran a video camera. Uncertainty Principles is taken from the end
of the concert, and includes parts of my recording, parts of Dennis's
recording with my projections over the band, and some manipulated
still images of the musicians.

Additional excerpts from this performance can be found at youtube.com/fmrje.

Improvisation (Night Lights)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXzGIVLwNjo is an excerpt from a live
performance I did with the Kevin Frenette 3 at 119 Gallery in Lowell.
Ma on October 23, 2009. The music combines elements of ambient music
and free jazz.

Enjoy.

This section of the performance includes a lot of manipulated video
imagery taken from a car on a stormy night, hence the title
Improvisation (Night Lights).
