"Shoot the Moon" (1962) is Red Grooms's and Rudy Burckhardt's remake of Melies's classic "Voyage to the Moon." You can find it at Film-maker's Coop.

There was also a Japanese filmmaker who reconstructed Arnulf Rainer with two classic hollywood films, but I can't remember the filmmaker or title.
