I saw a surplus Sony VO-2010 for $20 I think at weird stuff warehouse in Sunnyvale last week. I think there were some newer front loading Sony decks on the back shelves as well.

No idea of condition. You might ask them if you can try it before you buy it

I really only need to borrow the deck, or I have a small budget to buy one.
