Dance on Film returns to Light House this month to showcase the work of
renowned film-maker and composer Thierry de Mey. *Love Sonnets*,
choreographed by Michèle Anne de Mey, is about love and about dance, set to
Scarlatti’s Sonatas for Harpsichord; while *Musique de Tables* sets out to
explore the boundary between music and movements that create sound, using
only three tables and a score of hand movements. *One Flat Thing, Reproduced
* saw de Mey collaborate with The Forsythe Company to create a film of
what’s often referred to as “William Forsythe’s Olympics” – a dance work
that happens on, around, under and in between 20 tables.
