I have a solo show of my digital prints on paper of modified
photographs at the Pratt Institute through October 9. While not
cinema, cinema is a big inspiration for my use of multiple photos, and
experimental cinema an inspiration for my "truth to materials"
approach to digital imaging, trying in part to reveal some of its
qualities.
I have been doing this work for some five years now, and it has become
my main focus.
There are 118 works in this show, sizes ranging from a few inches to
44 X 57 inches. I am in New York until September 27 or so, and may be
able to arrange private viewings for those who cannot come during the
usual hours, which are Tuesday through Saturday noon to 6 PM.
