And nowhere did I write that they were. And they are not in Brakhage's
film. And they are seen only briefly. The point is, you are wrong if
you think that no one was disturbed by things like this back in the
1960s, because people were disturbed.
Mekas says he never condemned the film, so I have to accept that.
