Hello, all.
I am posting on behalf of friends. Please respond to the number/address
below.

********

We're looking for owners of either *35mm or 16mm camera* (preferably arri or
aaton make) located in NYC to loan equipment for one and a half day shoot
from the evening of Thurs May 7 to late evening of Friday May 8. Insane cost
of short-term insurance has barred us from any solution related to the usual
rental house route (du-all, cpt rental, abelcinetech). We can pay well for a
good camera /camera package, and also generously negotiate any collateral
issues as an alternative to insurance.

We will be shooting footage related to virtual reality therapy for veterans
with ptsd in what will be a blended fictive/documentary feature film. Themes
include memory, immersion, military life, with visual concerns geared toward
land, panoramic photography, history of painting, video painting,
realization of new optical vfx. Separate but not marginal. The short notice
for equipment is indicative of the mercurial nature of high-level access to
documentary subjects; if any fellow filmmakers in NYC can help, please email
email suppressed or call 818-399-8223.
- Mark Bowman, Ian Cheng
