Interesting...First I ever heard of that film. Leon is quite a character. Would love to see it sometime.

I have a print of Willie Nelson's 1974 4th of July Picnic concert film from College Station, TX where Leon is obviously way drunk, admitting as much on stage.

It's called 'A Poem is a Naked Person' about Leon Russell and Central Oklahoma , finished in 1974.
Leon Russell paid for Les and an assistant to live on his property for 2 years, all expenses
paid, and at the end said he liked the film, but then refused to let it be distributed. ( ? )
He also caused Les serious legal problems the few times he tried to show it.
Les can only show it at non-profits if he is present at the screening.

It was a great film, aside from the music it's a really amazing time capsule of the mid '70's.
(It sure was different back then.....)
It's really a shame that more people can't see this film.
