this thread has been amazing. thank you mat for that fantastic list
and thank you marco for posting the question.
i absolutely love the double-band projector idea and am now
determined to hunt one down for myself, perhaps even more than one
for a public installation that i am planning.

now, a couple of questions: anyone have any ideas as to where to
purchase this Bauer beauty or a comparable gem or even where to begin
the search? i have never seen one of these on ebay.

and... how might one get access to a mag recording machine? i have
not used mag since way back when, but would love to work with it
again. this is not something i would necessarily want to buy, but
any suggestions for who might have a mag recorder that i could get to
on the east coast of the u.s. and any considerations when doing the
transfer from digital cd would be awesome. is there a studio that
offers this service where one can just send a cd and get it transferred?

thank you in advance. this list is fabulous!

d

enjoy today...
