Peter Watkins' The War Game seems to come up on this list plenty, but
it hasn't yet (has it?). On the Beach (starring Gregory Peck, Ava
Gardner, Fred Astaire, & Anthony Perkins) is an interesting post-nuke
film that I stumbled upon a few years ago. There's also an oddity
from New Zealand that hasn't come up here: The Quiet Earth. There
are really too many apocalypse films to count. And once you start
including video games...good luck.
