Hi folks,

Happy New Year.

I've posted 3 new silent videos to my You Tube site. These are
examples of the source material that I use in my live performances --
sketches if you will, yet worthy of viewing in their own right. If
any composers/musicians/sound artists among you feel inspired to
collaborate on a sound-track for a more elaborate version of any of
these pieces, please contact me at (address suppressed)

Visions of La Push consists of straight footage taken from a summer
visit to the magical beaches in and around La Push, Washington.

Visions of La Push, Cartoon Mix contains material from the original
piece, treated with some paint and cartoon filters that I wrote as
part of my 'day job' with Boris FX.

Meditation in Red, White, and Blue is an a shortened version of a
video sequence I created for the "The Debate, REWIRED", performance.

I've long been interested in signs -- in particular the relationships
among what the sign says, what it means, it's visual appearance, and
the context in which it is displayed. The flag is a powerful sign,
and it is impossible to make a truly abstract piece about it. This
piece explores the tension between the flag's meaning and my abstract
exploration of the ways in which it is presented.
