Why recognize any State?

Why recognize France or Belgium, or Portugal or Spain for colonial
aggressions and massive human rights violations?
Why recognize Germany for the holocaust?
Why recognize Japan for the WWII atrocities committed against the
Chinese people?
Why recognize the UK for the oppression and starvation of the Irish?
Why recognize any number of North and South American countries for
the murder and abuse of their first peoples?
Why recognize the United States?

Look.... The reality is that every country has blood on their hands.
That does not disqualify any of these countries from having the right
to exist.
I see every reason why Israel should be criticized but no reason why
Israel should be singled out as not having the right to exist.
No one should have the power to make those kinds of decisions.
