Has anyone mentioned Gunvor Nelson's Take Off? That seems pretty
appropriate. Hollis Frampton's Manual of Arms comes to mind, as well,
especially with Hout's little rebellion. I assume the person who
recommended the Kubelka meant Unsere afrikareise, because I'm not sure
Arnulf Rainer makes a whole lot of sense.

If you've got the time, Yvonne Rainer's films Journeys From Berlin and
Privilege both fit very well, and are worth seeing.
