Asger Jorn was connected to Cobra and then the International movement of
Imagist Bauhaus, people associated with this and others associated with the
Lettrists (particularly Guy Debord) formed the Situationist International.
The painters associated with Cobra (the most well known being Karel Appel)
made works that were deliberately child-like, similar to Art-Brut but being
Marxist were suspicious of expression and were essentially ³critical² works
that combined figuration, gestural marks and ³paint².
The¹re not too difficult to find.
