Film Arts shut down their rental facility. Really, they've shut down
everything except fiscal sponsorship. They are said to be in talks
with one or more other organizations to take over their various
functions. I believe everything was for sale - I don't know what's
still there. You could email them.
As far as I know they were the last place in town to rent time on an
SFAI still had their optical printer when I taught there, and CCA
still has one, but I don't know of any way for non-students to get
access. Does CCSF have an optical printer? Anyone know? And if so, can
anyone just enroll in a class and get access?
