Schizo is fun, but I'm not sure if it really counts as a remake. It's
more of a neat found footage (or appropriated footage) thing. Very
cool, though.

I can't think of any films I've seen that are direct remakes. The
gentle ribbing of "(nostalgia)" in Owen Land/George Landow's Wide
Angle Saxon comes to mind. Someone becomes enlightened while watching
a boring avant-garde film of a person pouring red paint on a variety
of objects, the last being a stovetop.
