Dear Experimental Film Clubbers in Dublin (Ireland):
The second Experimental Film Club session will take place this Sunday
April 27th at 4pm upstairs in the Ha'penny Bridge Inn. This month we
are lucky to have a 16mm print of Oskar Fishinger's 'Walking form
Munich to Berlin' ( 1927 , 4', b&w, 16mm) and the Irish film-maker
Donal O'Ceilleachair attending in person to present his film 'With
Wind & White Clouds'( 2005, 5', b&w, super 8) made as a contemporary
homage to Fischinger's earlier work. We will also be showing two
extracts from Jonas Mekas' 'Lost Lost Lost' ( filmed 1949-1963 edited
1976, showing 60' of 180', 16mm, b&w). This programme is intended to
introduce the idea of diary film making showing 3 artists approaches
at very different moments in time.
