I'm looking for Materialist and Psychogeographic films and filmmakers. I'm aware of Peter Gidal's writings on the subject, and of course Debord and the Situationists of the 50's and 60's, but I'm interested in what work has been done in the 80's, 90's, 00's. Especially with the rise in video.

My partner and I have just completed a short film - SEPTEMBER - which we have seen fit to describe as both materialist and psychogeographic, and would like to see what company we now keep. Info on the film below, if you're interested.

  Matt Peterson

  29 Minutes. DV.
Made with Dan Meyerson. Voice by Cullen Gallagher.
Documentary city portrait essay film. On "Ground Zero," and America's relationship to the atomic bomb. Materialist. Psychogeographic.

More new features than ever. Check out the new AOL Mail!
