That makes perfect sense, but I think the question was, why does a
festival request a short one? Most likely to be included in the
program. In 19 years on screening committees, I have seen even three
and four page descriptions. Those were rarely read closely in their
entirety. So, 50 words may be insufficient, but it is possible to err
in the other direction as well.
