Ben and others,
The suggestions from Ingo are excellent. From my own 16mm work, I would
suggest Glass (1998, 16mm, 7:00), or Thursday (16mm, 1991, 4:30) over Red
Swing or, if you have time 50 feet of String (16mm, 1995, 35:00[the short
version]).
 
Is it 16mm only? If not, what about Tabula Rasa by Vincent Grenier?
