Dear Frameworkers in the Vicinity of Ellis Island,

Greetings from the Midwest. As occasionally happens, I missed the events
deadline for this week, so here are some quick words to let you know that in
addition to screening a film of mine at Views from the Avant-Garde on
Saturday, musician Joe Grimm and I will be doing the first stateside
performance of an expanded cinema piece that we toured with in Europe over
the summer. The Details Are As Follows:

Thursday the 4th of October at MIDNIGHT - "Peace Noise" collaborative
expanded cinema performance with Joe Grimm at the Cake
Shop<http://www.cake-shop.com/>(152 Ludlow St between Stanton and
Rivington). Live 16mm flicker loops,
throat singing, an analogue light-sensitive synthesizer, standing waves, and
a hatful of lenses - you can see a rusty 2D version of it here:

It's FREE and should be eye/ear-blowing. I hope to see a handful of you
there...

Best,

Ben Russell
